Welcome to J.I. Barron Elementary School, where we are committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all of our students. Located in the heart of Pineville, Louisiana, within the Rapides Parish School Board, we pride ourselves on being a community that values perseverance, honesty, integrity, compassion, kindness, cooperation, responsibility, and respect in all that we do. We hope all J I Barron stakeholders base their decision making on being kind, being safe, and being ready.
At J.I. Barron, we believe that every student is capable of achieving greatness. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to support each child in their academic, social, and emotional growth, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. We embrace the diversity of our student body and believe in providing a learning experience that is tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual.
We also know that the partnership between school and home is essential for a child’s success. We encourage families to be actively involved in their child's education and welcome all students and families to our campus with open arms.
